Gender Statistics: Gender, Institutions and Development Database

The Social Institutions and Gender Index (SIGI) as well as more than 60 additional indicators on gender equality can be accessed through the OECD Gender, Institutions and Development (GID) Database. The GID provides a tool for researchers and policy makers to determine and analyse obstacles to women’s social and economic development. It provides information for a total of 160 countries, thereby covering all regions and country income-categories of the world.
